Brisbane Technology Park
Level One by Zernike tenant Graduate Programs Australia has entered into a new partnership that will make it easier, cheaper and faster for employers to access graduate skills and talent.

GPA is the owner and operator of e2e.net – ‘the education to employment
network’. e2e.net works in partnership with education and training providers
and aims to better prepare their students for the transition from education
to employment, and secondly, to provide employers with direct access to
skilled staff.

Employers can access e2e.net at www.e2e.net.au at no cost.

From this site, employers can setup an e2e.net account, update their company profile, promote their events, publish their vacancies (fulltime, part time, casual, internships, vocational placement, traineeships and apprenticeships) and have their vacancies automatically matched to students on the basis of their qualifications or course of study.

The number of providers adopting e2e.net continues to increase. To assist this expansion, in July 2009, GPA signed the ACPET / e2e.net Partnership, a 5 year agreement that provides 1200 ACPET members with access to e2e. net under exclusive terms negotiated with ACPET on behalf of Members.

“ACPET foresees the importance in education, of dedicated Employment Services to better support students through the transition to employment, and the need to build relationships with Industry. These relationships support practical learning activities and lead to positive outcomes for students. As many Institutions know, employers want to build relationships with education and training providers but few Institutions have the resources, systems or business processes in place to respond adequately to the needs of industry”, said Andrew Smith.

The e2e.net model guarantees that employers have access to students and recent graduates because students access e2e.net using their existing campus assigned usernames and passwords. This ensures that each candidate is a current student or recent graduate.

As demand for e2e.net increases, so do the demands on GPA to continue to provide, support and develop the e2e.net solution. BTP provides the infrastructure to make this possible.

To register an e2e.net account please visit www.e2e.net.au, or call GPA on 1300 13 16 19.
